Where Karate Meets Traditional Weaponry

Bosaika Club is a specialised martial arts club dedicated to the traditional Okinawan weapons that complement and extend the art of karate. Our name unites the three disciplines at the heart of what we do — Bo Staff, Sai, and Kama — under one dojo.

We are a fun, welcoming environment guided by qualified and experienced karate coaches who bring depth, rigour, and genuine passion to every session.

Whether you want to deepen your existing martial arts practice, explore the elegant power of traditional weapons, or simply find a committed community of like-minded practitioners, Bosaika Club offers a path forward.

Sessions are built on the foundations of Shotokan karate principles — discipline, respect, and continuous improvement.

The Bosaika Club — ready for action

Three Weapons. One Path.

Bo Staff

The long staff — perhaps the most versatile weapon in Okinawan kobudo. Training develops reach, power generation, and fluid two-handed coordination.

Sai

The three-pronged truncheon of the Ryukyu Islands. Demanding precision, timing, and ambidextrous control — a true test of focus and dexterity.

Kama

The sickle weapon — razor-sharp in application, demanding respect and concentration. Kama training builds awareness, control, and decisive technique.

Membership Requirements

Bosaika Club is designed for those who already carry the spirit of martial arts within them. We keep our requirements simple and our standards high.
